Mass production
All the critical components of a Hilase instrument is thoroughly tested and calibrated based on a strict protocol before assembly. The assembled instruments also go through a detailed testing and calibration procedure.
The prototype
Based on the results of the development phase, a prototype is designed, which includes the necessary amounts of lasers and detection cells, the electronics and the supplementary gas handling components. The instrument is programmed to perform the selected self checking and control algorithms. The prototype is designed in a way to meet EMC standards. The calibration method is elaborated and all the documentations are produced.
The evaluation phase
The first step in developing the targeted instrument is to evaluate the measurement needed by our costumer, to estimate achievable minimum detectable concentrations, possible spectral interferences etc. It is essential to carefully optimise those components (hardware and software), which provide the necessary self checking and controlling features of the foreseen instrument.
What we offer
For its customers Hilase offers its expertise in developing highly reliable gas concentration measurement methods based on the photoacoustic technique, in building prototype gas concentration monitoring instruments and in organising and realising mass production of the developed instrument. Hilase also offers its already commercialised instruments.
